Paisley & Michael's Central Park Elopement
We met Paisley in January 2021, when she was a bridesmaid at a close friend’s wedding. The wedding was close-by to where we all grew up & she had a familiar face, so we got to talking.
Some time passed & we were so excited to see an email in our inbox from Paisley, asking us to capture her upcoming winter elopement in Central Park (does it get any more romantic?).
The pair invited their closest family members to meet them under the big willow tree near Bethesda Terrace for an intimate ceremony officiated by a close friend.
The couple drew a crowd of onlookers as they exchanged personally-written vows. Family members laughed, shed tears & looked on lovingly as the pair made it official.
Following the ceremony, Paisley & Michael hugged their families, gathered congratulations, then headed off for photos before spending the rest of the evening celebrating, just the two of them.
The newlyweds were all smiles as they cuddled up on the ledge of Bethesda Fountain, adorned with Paisley’s beautiful, colorful bouquet. Afterwards, they headed to the terrace, where a bubble artist framed them for a perfect bride-and-groom-kiss shot.
Everyone walking past couldn’t help but stare at the giddy couple - Paisley stunned in a Free People dress that was the perfect compliment to Michael’s uniform. Strangers shouted congratulations.
On the way out, we walked past the Bow Bridge, sneaking a few photos in an iconic spot.
We followed the lovebirds a few blocks down to a nearby pizza shop - because is there a more perfect way to end a wedding day?
We can’t wait to follow along on Paisley & Michael’s journey, see photos from Japan & hear about their adventures as their life together unfolds!
